In memory of Jenny What memories I have of a warm, generous and kind woman. In the beginning, opening her home to us as Colin’s work colleagues. Thankfully we didn’t last long in that category and we soon became good friends. I think I can remember most of the stay’s at the Vicarage, mind they are a little hazy. There were such good, delicious, home cooked food and the usual Yorkshire portions!!! Gemma reminded me today too about the world-class bacon sandwiches. Very much a necessity in helping to mop up the excess of vino and GIN (little tonic) the night before. I say night, it was usually til the very very early hours. Gosh did we put the world to rights – well it all made sense to us. The patient way she bore Colin’s antics – usual with a wry smile ………(sorry Colin). What a woman. It was a pleasure to spend time in her company – sadly not often enough. I’ll keep the very fond memories of Jenny very close to my heart. Love Gay xx
